Barber Makes Floor Entirely Out Of 70,000 Pennies

You can do a lot with 70,000 pennies. Jump on a one-way flight to San Francisco? Blow it all on five pairs of Nike Air Max, one for every day of the working week? Or you could buy exactly 117 Wetherspoons breakfasts.

Brett Davies had a better idea for his barber shop.
Rather than placing his hard-earned coppers straight into the hands of a professional floor fitter, he put his money where it mattered and stuck it to the very ground he works on, totally cutting out the middle man.

Davies, who’s been cutting hair for 26 years, owns BS4 in Dudley, West Midlands, and decided to make it the “most extravagant”  jewel in his crown of four barber shops.

So after travelling around the country visiting banks to change his cash into coppers, he constructed a floor made entirely out of 70,000 pennies, which took three-and-a-half months to complete.

The dad-of-two told Worcester News: “We did it ourselves. It seemed to take forever. We did it over a period of six weeks but we probably spent about 200 hours in total.”

I’m no design expert but it seems this Pinterest-worthy masterpiece was worth every penny.

Tell Us What Shape Your Eyebrows Are, and We Will Guess Your Character Type

If the eyes are the window of the soul, then the eyebrows are that window’s frame. But they too can tell a lot about our character.

The staff of Bright Side invites you to test this physiognomic theory on yourself (or those around you) right now!

Eyebrows of medium width and distance from each other imply a commitment to traditional values and integrity of character. At the same time, you are not prone to over-dramatization — something that makes others enjoy being in your company.

Extra-long eyebrows

People with long eyebrows can withstand virtually any stress and are very sociable. They are vibrant individuals who possess inexhaustible internal resources and a wide range of interests. If you belong to this type, you’re used to solving all your problems single-handedly and seldom share them with others.

Short eyebrows

You are highly attentive to details and are used to standing your ground. You don’t like hearing others complain of their problems since you also find it hard to cope with life’s difficulties sometimes. And yet no mountain is too high for you, that’s for sure!

Thick eyebrows
You have total confidence in your inner strengths and outward attractiveness. People like you can easily cope with conflicts. Once you’ve set your sights on some important goal, you’re simply unstoppable. You’re not particularly concerned with what others might think about you, being far more interested in living your own life to the fullest. Individuals of your type are rightfully called "free spirits."

Thin eyebrows

Very thin eyebrows speak of innate delicacy. Conflicts are not on your list of high priorities, and you manage to skillfully avoid them altogether. What else is there to say? You’re a perfect listener and an all-around compassionate soul!

High-arched eyebrows

Those who have high-arched brows are likely to be sensitive and selective in communication. On first meeting you, people often get a false impression, finding you self-centered or arrogant. But the simple truth of the matter is that you will not fully open up to someone who hasn’t won your trust. And, speaking of your character traits, perfectionism and self-criticism have always been your closest companions, haven’t they?

Low-arched eyebrows

A person with low-arched eyebrows is sure to be the kind of individual you can trust in any situation. Such people usually possess an engaging personality and are capable of building serious, long-lasting relationships.

Triangular eyebrows

The sharp, angular shape of your eyebrows implies a dynamic personality: you have the knack for quickly analyzing situations and making lightning-fast decisions. Such spontaneity can sometimes lead to undesired results, but it sure has its advantages: people never get bored in your company! A natural leader, you’re good at inspiring others and never shy away from taking responsibility.

Rounded eyebrows

Such eyebrows are an indisputable sign of kindness and attentiveness. You’re never indifferent to other people’s problems and are always ready to help those in need.

Almost straight eyebrows

Eyebrows without pronounced curves imply an analytical mindset and inclination to rational thinking. "Measure twice, cut once" is the saying that best describes your outlook on life. Nevertheless, you are not afraid of calling a spade a spade and voicing uncomfortable truths that others prefer to avoid.

"Diagonal" eyebrows

The steeper the angle of incline, the stronger the emotions and passions that seethe inside your soul. You make a lasting impression on everyone you meet. People like you know exactly what they want from life and always find the quickest path toward success.

Barely visible eyebrows

A particularly rare occurrence: light-colored sparse eyebrows, the shape of which can’t be easily defined. This is a sure sign of insecurity. You tend to doubt your own character and abilities, which, in turn, breeds timidity and shyness. You evidently don’t suffer from excess assertiveness and aggressiveness. We advise you to promptly cast off self-doubt and spread your wings toward new achievements!

Resumption of Cyprus talks

Talks resumed on June 28 in the Swiss Alpine resort of Crans-Montana to try to solve the Cyprus problem. Attendants include the Turkish- and Greek-Cypriot leaders, and the foreign ministers of three guarantor powers: Turkey, the UK and Greece. There have been countless similar talks for more than 40 years without concrete results.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel confessed after the fifth EU enlargement that it was a mistake to admit the Greek Cypriots to the bloc before the Cyprus question was resolved. The Greek side has little incentive to make concessions now that it has joined the EU.
So will Greek-Cypriot negotiators try to accommodate Turkish Cypriots’ legitimate demands eight months before presidential elections? More importantly, if a deal is agreed, will Greek Cypriots vote in favor of it when it is submitted to a referendum?
There are two outstanding issues in the negotiations: Reducing the Turkish military presence on the island and canceling the Treaty of Guarantee, signed in 1960 to secure the independence, territorial integrity and security of Cyprus.
The island is divided because the ruling military junta in Greece in 1974 tried to oust then-President of Cyprus Archbishop Makarios and annex it to Greece. Turkey used its rights as a guarantor power and prevented the annexation.
Greek Cypriots now insist on the withdrawal of Turkish troops because they claim they do not pose a threat to Turkish Cypriots. Ankara had hoped at one stage that the idea of annexing the island to Greece was abandoned, but this hope turned out to be unrealistic.
A law adopted on Feb. 10, 2017, by the Greek-Cypriot Parliament provides that festivities should be organized at schools to commemorate the anniversary of a referendum held in 1950 to annex Cyprus to Greece. Greek-Cypriot media tried to trivialize the initiative by claiming it was the work of a small far-right political party, ELAM, but did not explain why the ruling party DISI abstained during the vote rather than oppose the adoption of the law.
After noticing the negative effects of the law on ongoing negotiations, the Greek-Cypriot Parliament tried to revoke it but stopped short of doing so. It referred the question to the Supreme Court on the grounds of unconstitutionality. Soteris Drakos, a member of the political bureau of the ruling party, was so angry at its initiative to revoke the law that he announced his resignation from the party.

Will Greek-Cypriot negotiators try to accommodate Turkish Cypriots’ legitimate demands eight months before presidential elections? More importantly, if a deal is agreed, will Greek Cypriots vote in favor of it when it is submitted to a referendum?
Yasar Yakis
It is difficult to tell what this referral to the Supreme Court means. Is it a palliative to gain time until presidential elections in the Greek part of the island or until the conclusion of negotiations with the Turkish part?
Worse will be if the court decides that the law is constitutional. Then future Greek-Cypriot generations will be educated with the ideology of annexing the island to Greece. Bearing this in mind, the Turkish side does not want give up its rights stemming from the Treaty of Guarantee and withdraw all its soldiers from the island until the Greek-Cypriot side demonstrates persuasively that annexing it to Greece is out of question.
What we see now is the opposite: Greek-Cypriot politicians working relentlessly to maintain the idea of annexation. Despite this, Turkey showed flexibility in Crans-Montana on the number of its troops to be kept on the island.
The first reports from the meeting said Turkey could agree to withdraw a token number of soldiers initially, and leave subsequent stages to a decision by a five-party committee composed of the Turkish and Greek parts of Cyprus and the three guarantor states, which will decide according to the evolution of the reconciliation process between Cypriot Turks and Greeks.
Greek Cypriots insist on the withdrawal of Turkish troops and the cancelation of the Treaty of Guarantee. When this is considered along with passing a law to commemorate the annexation referendum, it will not be easy to persuade Turkish Cypriots to agree to the departure of Turkish troops and the cancelation of the treaty.
• Yasar Yakis is a former foreign minister of Turkey and founding member of  the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP)

Kim Jong Un Sends Thousands Of People To Russia

Horrifying new findings show that Kim Jong Un is exporting thousands of North Korean citizens to Russia to work under slave like conditions.
The Seoul-based Data Base Centre for North Korean Human Rights has released a report, estimating that around 50,000 North Korean workers are currently employed in Russia.
The US State Department considers North Korea to be one of the worst countries worldwide for human trafficking and forced labour offenses.

The workers are often subject to harsh, degrading and sometimes life-threatening working conditions. Disturbingly, there have been reports of physical abuse, withholding of documents and a lack of safety measures.
Labourers stay together in claustrophobic dormitories and are strictly forbidden to speak to Russians or any other foreigners outside of working hours.
Sickeningly, most of their hard won earnings are confiscated by the government. 80% of forestry workers’ earnings and 30% of  construction workers’ earnings are taken by the Workers’ Party of Korea to ‘facilitate the country’s defence’.
Extra money is taken to cover living expenses and workers are expected to contribute towards a ‘loyalty fund’, as well as other donations. It is estimated that North Korea rakes in at least $120 million a year through exploiting these labourers.

Both North Korea and Russia are benefitting from this exploitative employment structure. Exporting labour helps to bolster the isolated North Korean regime, which has been tightly squeezed by international sanctions.
‘Fast, cheap and reliable’ North Korean labourers are desirable to some Russian businesses because of their willingness to work long hours without complaint.

Tragically, there have even been fatal consequences…
Kim Jong Un Sends Thousands Of People To Russia North Korean Propaganda 1 624x468Wikimedia
North Korean labour was used to help build the Zenit Stadium in St Petersburg. It was here that a 47-year-old North Korean worker died on site from a heart attack.
He had been working 11 hour days, seven days a week, for $10-$15 a day. Fatigue is suspected to be a factor in his death.
Two North Korean workers who had been helping to build a luxury apartment complex in Moscow were found dead in a ‘decrepit’ hostel near to the building site.
Sadly, living conditions in repressive North Korea are so dire that workers are actually willing to pay bribes to get sent to work in Russia…

Floyd Mayweather: ‘This is a beautiful art and people want to pay to see it’

AFTER their international four-city press tour, Floyd Mayweather insists he still does not know much about Conor McGregor and has attempted to explain why he is such a huge pay-per-view draw.
The two polarising combatants made headlines all over the world over the past week during an expletive-laden tour that saw them hit Los Angeles, Toronto, Brooklyn and London.

Despite spending so much time with the Irishman, Mayweather has not gleaned much from the last few days but knows this – plenty of people will tune in on August 26.
“I don’t really know him. I’m not trying to be funny or disrespectful but I really don’t know him, I don’t know much about him,” he said.
“I heard about him fighting in the UFC. He can fight and he’s tough but he’s also an entertainer. There are a lot of UFC fighters that are undefeated, than can fight, but you don’t have the gift of the gab, you don’t have that certain personality, that same swag just like me.

“You got fighters in boxing ‘oh my god, 33 fights, I got 33 knockouts.’ Guess what? We’re selling the same thing but you don’t got the same sales pitch that I got. You knocking people out but they want to see you fight for free. I don’t have to knock ‘em out, this is a beautiful art and people wanna pay to see it.”
The fight is on Showtime pay-per-view in the States and is expected to feature on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK.
Mayweather, 40, has been criticised for coming out of retirement to fight UFC lightweight champion McGregor, who has never boxed beyond novice level as an amateur.
The unbeaten American maintains that this will be his final fight, while also shrugging off concerns that such a mismatch will harm his legacy.
“It’s a job. This is my last fight after years and years and years of travelling and getting out there. I shook Al Haymon’s hand and promised him this would be my last fight,” he said.
“I thought the [Andre] Berto fight was my last fight but I’m a businessman, I do good business. The fans demanded this fight.
“My legacy, if I’m not mistaken, I’m sure-fire Hall of Fame as if not the best then one of the best. My legacy is gonna say that of all the fighters in the sport of boxing Floyd Mayweather was the smartest, not just in the ring but on the outside as well.”

Three-Year-Old’s ‘Sick’ Comment During Breastfeeding Goes Viral

A viral video of a breastfeeding mother has caused outrage after reemerging online, with observers dubbing the woman’s actions ‘sick’ after her young son made some unusual comments.
The footage has been circulating on Facebook, racking up nearly 2 million views, of  Tasha Maile breastfeeding, days after the mum-of-three went on ITV‘s This Morning and defended her right to have sex while breastfeeding her children.

Tasha is now under fire again for a video that was taken from her YouTube channel and posted to Facebook alongside a false caption claiming she was breastfeeding a six-year-old.
Her son, Josiah, who was actually just three when this footage was filmed last year, looks to camera and says: "It's good to breastfeed and kiss. Yesterday... we is pretending you's my girlfriend and I was your boyfriend and I kissed you."
You can watch the original video courtesy of YouTube channel, Spiritual Tasha Mama, below:

The mother's eyes widen at her son's innocent and childish comments and she smiles as she dubs them 'so cute'. Others disagree.
Jennifer Begley-Byrd was so upset and disturbed by the video she claimed she is 'going to send this over to the Philadelphia FBI...because this is just not normal behavior for children that are his age and im sure this is more along the lines of a form of pedophilia [sic]'.
John Macho Cassaro chimed in: "That damn kid is old enough to drive to the store and get his own milk. If you can't realize that this bitch has psychological issues and is looking for attention then you're naive as hell. [sic]"
The video was posted by Hayder k.i.fover a year ago, and has been watched 1.9 million times - and counting. Shockingly, for a post so old, the footage is being still being commented on by angry Internet Detectives at the time of writing.
Although breastfeeding is a perfectly natural, and healthy thing - and breasts are not inherently sexual organs, but givers of life and sustenance to future generations - some people still can't seem to separate sex and showing your child familial love by feeding them so they don't die.
Yes, this woman does seem to have a more permissive attitude to sex and breastfeeding than most, but I'm not sure it's really a matter to worry the FBI over.
Three Year Olds Sick Comment During Breastfeeding Goes Viral Tasha 1Spiritual Tasha Mama
And as a three-year-old, the child wouldn't understand the semantics of sex with which adults approach words like 'girlfriend' and 'boyfriend'. Kids say weird shit all the time.
So perhaps we should stop holding youngsters to the same verbal standards as adults with sexually active imaginations.
Meanwhile, the heated debate centred around breastfeeding shows no signs of slowing down, for some unfathomable reason beyond what we all learned in biology class.

Bradley Lowery Has Sadly Passed Away After Losing His Battle With Neuroblastoma

His smile will live on forever.

Life is precious. Live it to the fullest, because you never know which second is going to be your last. No matter what happens in your life, always face it with a smile.

Bradley Lowery battled to the very end with a smile across his face and that gave us continued hope, but on Friday 7 July, a brave 6-year-old lad from Blackhall Colliery, near Hartlepool, broke the heart of a nation.

Hundreds of thousands rallied together to help him and his family battle this debilitating disease, but Bradley's incredible journey sadly ended today.

Despite the sadness we are all feeling at this very moment, we must remember that Bradley's legacy will live on forever. Throughout all of the difficult times in his short life, he managed to touch the hearts of millions around him with incredible warmth, energy and bravery.

Neuroblastoma spread to his chest, lungs, lymph nodes, bone and bone marrow, but little Bradley's heart was still pure.

Bradley may have only been with us for six short years, but he made sure that his time on this earth was precious

From walking hand in hand with best mate Jermain Defoe at Wembley Stadium to having a horse named after him at the Grand National, the youngster experienced the best of what life has to offer and it all started on a Monday night in the North East.

The world was introduced to Bradley back in September last year.

He proudly led the Sunderland team out for a Premier League game against Everton and was warmly welcomed by the fans. His beaming smile was shared across the country.

Bradley had come along way in a short space of time. Bradley was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2013 and after two-years of chemotherapy, he was effectively free of cancer and, for 18 months, was a "normal boy enjoying his life".

But three months prior to his guest of honour appearance at the Stadium of Light, Bradley's neuroblastoma returned.

He continued to fight the disease with incredible bravery. Bradley's message was spread across social media that night, and fittingly, he and his family's life changed.

After the Sunderland game, the family raised in excess of the £700,000 needed for Bradley to have antibody treatment in New York.

The reaction to Bradley's appearance that night touched the nation and after the match, it was announced Everton had given £200,000 towards life-saving treatment in America to fight against cancer.

The 'Bradley Lowery Foundation' continued to receive huge support from well-wishers across the globe and last Christmas, an amazing act of kindness brought a tear to my eye.

250,000 well-wishers sent Christmas cards to his home in Blackhall Colliery, near Hartlepool.

Inspired by the youngster's courage, this world gave Bradley the best christmas he could ever have wished for.

His last wish was to receive as many Christmas cards as possible and in the lead-up to Christmas day, he received a total of 250,000. An incredible response for a remarkable little man.

At the end of 2016, Andy Murray may have won the Sports Personality of the Year award but Bradley was the real star of the show.

Looking suave in his suit and bow tie, the youngster's smile lit up the red carpet on a cold day in Birmingham.

In the coming months, Bradley's friendship with Jermain Defoe became stronger and stronger.

The former Sunderland striker made an appearance at the youngster's fairytale birthday party in May, along with goalkeeper Vito Mannone.

His 6th birthday included a marquee, jugglers, rides, stilt walkers and candy floss at Blackhall Cricket Club, near Durham, but the appearance of his best mate Jermain produced the biggest smile of the afternoon.

Bradley's mum Gemma expressed her gratitude towards the England international:
"We are very grateful for Jermain to have taken Bradley in his heart.

"So Jermain's obviously now a friend of the family rather than Bradley's idol - although he is still Bradley's idol - and he makes Bradley happy and he makes Bradley smile, and it's just lovely to see him with him."

From proudly clasping Bradley's hand as he walked out at Wembley before England's win over Lithuania to visiting the youngster in hospital on a regular basis, Defoe has struck up a special bond with Lowery.

After months of battling with Neuroblastoma, Bradley's precious time on this earth has sadly come to an end.

We will never forget the remarkable six year old lad from Blackhall Colliery, near Hartlepool who bravely battled such a horrible disease. Bradley won the hearts of a nation with that beaming smile and heart of gold.

Gone but never forgotten.

10 Facts About Brain Work Which Prove We’re Capable of Anything

Our brain is amazing. It can help us to reach any peak, make our most cherished dreams come true, and achieve the most complicated goal. Yet, if we want it all, we should first understand the principles on which our brain works.

Our brain reacts to every thought and cannot tell a fact from a fantasy. This is why people looking at the world through rose-colored glasses feel happier, and this is why our body accepts a placebo as a real pharmaceutical product.

The feeling of brain fatigue arises because of our emotions. The composition of blood flowing through the brain during its active work remains unchanged. Although, for example, blood from the veins of a man who has worked all day changes considerably.

More than half of today’s thoughts are thoughts from yesterday. This is why it’s so difficult for pessimists to change their perception of the world. They need to literally "clean" their brain and make it react to positive things more often.

Any thoughts turn into life experiences. For example, if you dream about a trip to Paris, you’ll see reminders of this city everywhere. If you want to change the world around you, change your thoughts.

The brain is no different from muscles: it also needs training. Learning, fresh air workouts, healthy eating, sound sleep, traveling to new places, new activities, making notes, dancing, and even playing Tetris are all useful for your brain.

Even when we sleep, our brain continues to work hard. Moreover, its activity during sleep is even higher than during the day.

In order not to drown in thousands of negative thoughts, we need to "shut ourselves down" to give a break to our immune system. Don’t forget about active rest: for our brain, it’s the most useful kind of relaxation.

To "save" new memories, our brain needs to get rid of old ones. It would be nice if we were able to decide what to remember and what to forget. To do this, we need to use the information we want to preserve more often.

Our brain reacts to pain but doesn’t feel it itself because of the lack of necessary receptors. Although this fact doesn’t apply to lots of blood vessels, nerves, and tissues that surround the brain.

Any kind of activity makes our brain generate new neural connections. If we think we’re not able to achieve a promotion, this idea will only strengthen in our consciousness over time. But if you use the phrase "I’ll succeed," the brain itself will give you opportunities to realize your goal.

We have the ability to achieve absolutely everything. The main thing is to believe.
